We use currency accounts: storing and using GBP, USD and EUR. Need to be able to make and receive payments in different currencies.

Be able to send more than 1 attachment with emails
I often need to send a couple of attachments. At present I have to send 2 emails and explain why I have to send two messages.

google contact sync
Now that you guys are on the google apps marketplace, it would ne nice to add a sync option with google contacts, just as the one existing for google calendar

Add UPS, Fedex and USPS shipping options for US based clients
Many of us are US based and would love a full integration with our local shipping providers. Bring the cost data all the way to a customer who's about to check out so they can make an informed decision on shipping options. Allow us to mark up the shipping for our handling costs. Then import a statement from our shipper so the costs are accurately entered for us.

Allow for payment terms from end of month of invoice as well as from the invoice date
Would help avoid having to set all due dates manually at the point of creation.

Label printing
Label printing not currently working properly. Would be great to have some sort of integration with label printers. May I suggest Brother label printers as they are the most popular as a business an office business label printer.

Automate statements
Statements should be able to be scheduled to be emailed at either weekly, monthly, etc, automatically.

This would be setting up an email support@company.com to get emails turned into tickets.

Manually adjust VAT on expenses
When entering an expense the VAT rate is set by the nominal code's default. There is no way to add VAT to a zero rated code or remove VAT from a T1 code. Subsistence and travel quite often have a mixture of T0 and T1 items. The current form doesn't allow for this. The ability to manually override VAT would be useful.

"File dump" facility (document storage)
A "File Dump" facility in Pearl would be nice to store eg. additional price lists not being used on a regular basis. This will allow all or even some users to access these files at a specific location in Pearl.

Serial Number inventory / stock control
Sorry to bring this up again but do we have any idea on if/when we can user serial number with stock again? It plays such a big part in our day to day running and safe guards us no end.
I understand the idea of in line serial scans but we would like to be able to know EXACTLY which PO the item came from for RMA purposes without having to headhunt to much or scan lots of serial numbers in a notes field.

Hi Dean – we’re not looking to implement serial number management in the near future. Maybe next year but it’s a big piece of work that would park our development team for a long while. We’ll be hitting the smaller jobs first.

Show Contact details in Google Calendar
We make many appointments with clients and use Google Calendar synced with BP.
However, we have to manually enter the client address and telephone numbers in the activity notes so that they show in Google Calendar and our mobile devices.36 votes -

Courier integration - DHL
Reenterring shipping information for each outgoing package is a pain and unnecessary work. If you integrate with FedEx/TNT/DHL's API you can send shipment info to them from your database. There is potentially even revenue for pearl in this (affilate, or shipping as 3rd party via your master account). Would happily accept being locked into one supplier or paying slightly higher fees if it saved this nuciance.
